These models were produced as a planning aid; the aim was to show how the new house fits into its surroundings, and its impact upon them.

The larger model is at 1:100 and shows the building within the context of the site.
The smaller model is at 1:50 and was produced to show how lightly the bridge section of the house impacts on the stream and banks.

We have used a limited palette of cork and wood,
The contours and landscape are built up from layers of cork. The water is represented by a clear sheet of plastic.
The bridge section on the 1:50 model was made up from painted 3D printed parts, pre-formed plastic rod, and wood strip.
